ACT/SAT Preparation

This course is designed to help students improve their ACT and SAT score, particularly in mathematics. Up to date research-based strategies will be used to help students grasp reasoning skills needed to solve math problems. Since students have different learning styles and study habits, an individualized plan will be utilized to determine the best method that works. Students will be given tips for success as well as complete official full-length practice tests. Additional subject practice tests are available with ACT bundles.

2. Engage in six 20-minute interactive virtual or three 40-minute face-to-face math sessions.

3. Complete activities and tasks related to standards-based math objectives.

Elementary Math (Grades 4-5)

 

Elementary School math builds the foundation of skills needed for students to be successful. It is during these years that students are learning how the math works. An emphasis is on getting students to explain and understand the process more than just learning procedures. We work with students to present an interactive and enjoyable learning experience to help students Get Equipped with Math Skills. We offer homework help, review for tests, reteaching of skills, enrichment, real-world tasks, and additional practice to get ahead.

Mini-Lessons/Homework Assistance

We believe all students should have the opportunity to excel, elevate, and enjoy mathematics. In this course we customize a learning path for students to be properly equipped with  math skills necessary to be successful. This is an interactive virtual course with mini-lessons that are fun and challenging. The 20-minute or 30-minute session engages students in real-world problems while covering critical areas. Another option is for students to use this as an opportunity to get homework help.
